Post-Doctoral Research Opportunities
Opportunities to join the Padgett Research Group as a Post-Doctoral Researcher vary. All positions require a PhD in a related field, such as civil engineering, systems engineering, or coastal engineering. Successful candidates will have demonstrated abilities in conducting high quality research in a related area, a successful record of publication, and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate and lead in teams. An opening currently exists in the area of Infrastructure Resilience in Coastal Settings. Graduate Opportunities
The Padgett Research Group welcomes the applications of students interested in pursuing graduate studies in the Civil Engineering Program at Rice University with an interest in related topics. Opportunities vary each year. Students interested in pursuing a PhD with relevant background and experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
